It's been a few weeks since my last outburst, and yeah, I haven't taken down much beyond the commissions that I didn't make myself. As I stay abreast of developments on Twitter, I have to say my feelings for AI art generation haven't changed - if anything, they've only been galvanized. It's theft, designed to take from, mimic and obsolete every generation of artist, from the past and what's to come. It'll destroy the current talent market. The future? Some will refuse to put their art online and just do it for themselves. The rest are going to give in. The most sick, sad, and hilarious aspect of the whole thing, is that the people currently reveling in taking down what they see as the upper echelon are only starting to become aware that they're still nothing special. Anyone can instantly be as skilled as they are. Some practice, one click, and they can shit out an image in the same style in seconds. Many are beginning to realize that they are infinitely more disposable than the people

dA fucked up. When the plague of NFTs and AI art generators was starting, it quickly became obvious that the people behind them were grabbing art from any place on the web that was hosting it, without as much as a by your leave or a thank you. dA was essentially a vault just waiting to be picked cleaned. In real terms, there is no way to protect an image that you have posted on the web from being downloaded and saved. The whole point of posting an image to the web is to make it available at a particular address, and the whole point of a web browser is to have a means of transferring the data of web objects to another computer. Once that data has moved, redirecting it to a new file is child's play, regardless of the protections you think you've put on them. If you're worried about digital copying, then your only recourse is to make sure your image is never seen on the internet at all, or given to anyone else that will upload it. However, this is entirely separate from issues of

Hi! Thank you so much for faving:

(SFM) Doki Doki Endgame Club

means a lot

well, thank you for making it :)
Soon, it's going to be yet another regular day. Birds will sing...cats will meow...dogs will bark...geese will honk and steal peoples stuff.

A typical, simple, regular day.

However, there is a small, tiny, exception.  The exception is for you, for that is the time when lightning was thrown from above by Zeus to herald your appearance.  Cast in the molten fires of Mount Olympus, and granted with a great creative power, you have been released upon the world to conquer it in whatever manner you see fit!  For it has been foretold by those who can see the future that you are great and true, and that it is your time to shout your joy to the heavens, and revel in the knowledge that on that day, it is written for you to have a Happy Birthday, with many more to come to increase your power and complete your creative conquest!

Also there's hand made cake and ice cream from down the street.  Those folks make some mighty fine cake indeed. Yum! :D (Big Grin) Have your cake and eat it too
You might be one of the few reasons I come back here ;D
Awww, that gives me some serious warm-fuzzy feelings.  I just hope that when Ecplise is rolled out that I will be able to continue it.
Thanks for the Fav!!Hug
