Seven Angels: Palladia Dovula

I no longer remember if Palladia was the first or the second angel I came up with (the other contender being Jeseira). She is definitely the one I spend the most time on, and the number of commissions I've had made of her are piling up. I wish I could show you guys some, as many are amazing.

Sadly her story is not a PG one, so most of it can't really be inserted here.

Palladia is a succubus, one of a race of a thousand sisters, led by her father Draculark Dovula. From birth, she has been raised to become her father's consort, one to carry on his name as well as her own bloodline, the Vrykolakas. Palladia has led a very pampered life for the past 47 years, and really has little interest in her studies, such as they are. While succubi are vampiric, she has always had her meals provided to her, so she has never developed the killer instinct prevalent in most of her sisters. But that may also be an side effect of something deeper within her - Palladia is a mana angel.

As the incarnation of Mariliel, Angel of Shade, Palladia is heir to the power over shadow, darkness, and all energies related. There is, however, an interesting wrinkle. The mana angels are diametric opposites of demons - the former being the Godess' agents of creation and the latter agents of destruction. As Pokiehl puts the question to Palladia's sister, "What do you think would happen if an angel were to be reborn as a demon?"

The strain and instability prove....... interesting.....
